We Believe . . .

In God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.

In Jesus Christ, God's only Son and our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin Mary,
sufferered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell, and on the third day came back from being dead.
He ascended into heaven and now sits on the right hand of God, the father almighty.
From there he will come to judge both the living and the dead.

In the Holy Spirit,

the holy Christian Church throughout the world,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body after death,
and the life everlasting.
